Biden appoints U.S. Lawyer, Marshal in Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – President Biden is announcing one new nominee to provide as U.S. Attorney and two new nominees to serve as U.S. Marshal in Mississippi.

Todd Gee: Nominee for United States Legal professional for the Southern District of Mississippi

Todd Gee has served as Deputy Chief of the General public Integrity Segment of the United States Division of Justice because 2018. Mr. Gee previously served as an Assistant United States Lawyer in the District of Columbia from 2007 to 2015. He was beforehand Main Counsel from 2006 to 2007 and Counsel and Senior Coverage Advisor from 2005 to 2006 for the Committee on Homeland Safety in the United States Home of Associates. Mr. Gee served as a law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge Janice M. Stewart in the District of Oregon from 2003 to 2005. Michael Purnell: Nominee for United States Marshal for the Northern District of Mississippi

Michael Purnell has served as Lieutenant and Executive Officer of the Mississippi Highway Basic safety Patrol considering the fact that 2020. Mr. Purnell has held several other roles with the Mississippi Highway Protection Patrol, which includes as Learn Sergeant and Supervisor for the Motor Provider Protection Division from 2019 to 2020, Condition Trooper from 2008 to 2019, Master Sergeant in the Enforcement Division from 2004 to 2008, Investigator and Grasp Sergeant from 2000 to 2004, and Trooper from 1996 to 2000. Dale Bell: Applicant for United States Marshal for the Southern District of Mississippi
